Living journal of art, mindfulness, movement, and community. Here we honor non-linear growth, neurodiverse wisdom, grief and joy, creativity and connection — the stories that shape us as we wander together.

Majestic Glow holds my history with the glow you see, which is the coexistence of struggle and radiance.
The bold yellow pushing through the dark forms represents the light that has carried me through grief, doubt, and years of trying to fit into systems that were not built for my brain or soul.  I have struggled with the way the world often feels disconnected, harsh, and misaligned with the empathy and love I know are possible. But there has always been something bright inside me that refuses to dim. The glow in this piece is not soft — it is fierce, alive, and earned.
The dark circular shapes are heavy weights I have carried – the loss of my brother, my father, and my mother.
The tension is stored in my shoulders and spine. Yet those shapes are not fragile; they are thick and strong. They represent resilience.  They show that sensitivity and strengths can coexist. The vertical form is the center of my spine, like a tree trunk, marked by years, bends, and growth, still standing.
This painting is a declaration that struggle and radiance can exist together. It is about claiming all parts of myself: the dyslexic artist, the grieving sister and daughter, the movement teacher, the woman who builds community from pain. Majestic Glow is imperfect, layered, and full of love. And so am I.
